Your username is firstname.lastname@stjlabs.com. Email me (jseamon@stjacademy.org) if you need to reset your password.
How do I receive free USB thumb drives?.
I can usually provide up to to 5 drives to a teacher at a time. Email me and let me know how many you’d like and I’ll drop them off in your mailbox. Students came pick up a drive (if they are available) during CP in SV21.
How do I get my hands on lots of free educational software?
I have several hundred copies of Open Education Disc, a large compilation of the best free open source (FOSS) education software for Windows. I can provide up to 50 copies to a teacher at a time.
What do I do if I have a student who doesn’t remember their account information?
If the student has never logged in to either system, their initial login information is contained in the master account spreadsheet that was emailed to the entire faculty. If their login information does not work, you can have their passwords reset in two ways. Any teacher can email me the names of the students whose passwords need to be reset. Please make sure to state in the email which password(s) you need reset (Portal and/or Docs). The second method is for the student to come see me in SV21 during CP. Note that I cannot send student passwords to student email accounts. If you give a student their login information, please also give them the Login Letter to Students – Fall 2011.
What information should I give to students who are brand new to the portal and STJLabs Google Docs system?
Give them this web address: http://tinyurl.com/stjastudentaccountinfo. On that page they will find information that will help them setup and explore their accounts.
Is there a shorter URL for the school’s stjacademy.org web mail system?
Yup: bit.ly/sjamail will take you to the login page.
